93SC400160k+ Posted February 15, 2004 Posted February 15, 2004 I have had my sc400 since 1996. The cd changer has been replaced once in 1997. Now I am having a similar problem. The first cd plays fine, but when I want to switch the next cd gets stuck. I can see the cd is halfway loaded and can push back in cartridge. But it refuses to load any cd other than the first one in the cartgridge. Is there an adjustment? Is there something I can check. Should I clean the feeder rollers? Any suggestions?
UCF3 Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 Take the entire thing apart, and clean all of the rails and wheels, replace the head. There are some companies that can rebuild it, fi you don't want to tackle the problem yourself.
