Nav- Won't Accept Address

I have a 2007 RX350

My NAV will not accept some addresses. I would guess they are not in the database. The only work around that I found is to enter a street address

just a number or two more or less then where I am actually going.

Is there a better way to get the NAV to accept an address?

do what i did...buy a garmin nuvi and mount it in your vehicle. the nav units in toyota/lexus vehicles are a joke.

You could update your Nav and that would help maybe? I have had that happen in my X5 too...

Also make sure that you are in the correct search area or it may not be able to locate some addresses, this should be located under the "destination" tab and shows the united states split up into sections. Choose the area that you live in or want to search in and then try the address again.
