Pete Corwel
2004 RX330 . I am getting a ticking noise behind the instrument panel with the engine off and key out of ignition. The battery will get drained after about 12 hours. The nois stops as soon as key is rotated to acc position or normal running position, the battery charges normally and no malfunction when running. Does anyone have any ideas to cause or how to check?
Pete Corwel
The Problem has been found by my Lexus service dept. It turned out the the Mark Levinson Amplifier was the problem and the tick was actually coming from the left front speaker. Fuse has been pulled to stop current draw and give me some time to decide what to do as the cost of a new amp is $1070.00. I was able to find new ones for $652.00 but still way too much money, I'm looking for a used one. If anyone has one or a lead on one please post. Thanks
