jnr
Hi Everyone New member to forum. Just took delivery of a 2010 ES350 in Febraury. Love the the car. A huge difference between my 98 ES. Does anyone know how do I replace the fog lamp bulbs on 2010 ES...hate the regular bulbs thinking of installing LED bulbs.
pj8708
Hi Everyone New member to forum. Just took delivery of a 2010 ES350 in Febraury. Love the the car. A huge difference between my 98 ES. Does anyone know how do I replace the fog lamp bulbs on 2010 ES...hate the regular bulbs thinking of installing LED bulbs. Others have replaced them with HID bulbs, not sure about LEDs. Just do a search and I'm sure you will find several references to same. Welcome! Paul
SW03ES
LED bulbs aren't going to produce any light output, which is the purpose of having lights in the first place. I would do an HID conversion before I did an LED conversion.
cduluk
I agree with SW, the LED-bulbs currently on the market for the 9005/6 series (or similar) don't produce much light, at least not at the "focal point" where the filament is located in a standard bulb. Therefore the light reflector won't be able to put light on the road, and you'll get a lot of glare. Plus, they create WAY too much heat and probably won't last very long. Most of these LED-bulbs don't have built in voltage regulators or proper heat-sinking.
