Ls430 Tag Light Up-Grade

I'm trying to change my tag light from a regular bulb to and LED setup, How do you gain access to the lights it self?

Hi,

I am assuming the 430 is similar to the 400 and if so you need to remove the trim panel inside the trunk (held by plastic clip)s to get access to the lamp holder, push your hand inside and feel for the lamp holder, once located twist it and it will separate from the lens,fit the LED replacement (try it before putting it back as they only work fitted one way) then put it back together.

Steve you have a 94 LS400 with tail lights with bulbs that are accessed from inside the trunk. Please don't assume that one has to tear the trunk trim apart to access the tail light bulbs just because you have to do that on your generation 1 LS400.
