GabyMack
I just bought a 1994 SC300, the AC seems to only work on MAX COLD (and it's freezing), but as soon as I change the temperature to something higher, the heater kicks on. Any Suggestions? -Gabe
Martyfin46
I have the same issue, on a 94 SC300. Two different dealers say there is nothing wrong. However the air flow out of the Vent remains at either 40 or 80 degree. I do not recall it being this way when I purchased the car new. FYI, when the vent is on outside, the fan will change speed, however on circulate, the fan speed does not change. Good luck on your quest for repair, and i would appreciate an update if you should ever find a resolution to the proplem. martyfin46@verizon.net
glissman
Try replacing the magnetic clutch relay in the fuse box . Drivers side under hood. Fixed mine by just jiggling and pushing it down tight.
Xmon
check to see if your cabin temp sensor is connected. Mine was disconnected and I had a similar problem. Full cold or heat.
