2010 Is250 Parking Assist Install?

Hi there,

I've been searching through the forum and haven't found any information on a DIY install of the Parking Assist feature on a 2010 IS250 Non-NAVI 2WD. Was also wondering about where to locate parts for this as well - other than the dealer if possible. TIA!

I don't think this is a DIY. Park Assist is a factory only feature--even the dealer doesn't install it, unless it's a non-OEM aftermarket system.

The "Lexus Parking Aid 400" and "Lexus Parking Aid 800" systems have been a dealer installed option on the IS250 in Europe but I don't know if you can order either of the system kits from a U.S. Lexus dealer. You can view the installation instructions and part numbers for both systems at http://www.lexus-tech.eu in the "Accessory Installation Manuals" section. The installation instruction manuals are too big to upload to this forum.
