Replacing High Mount Stop Lamp In 2003 Es

Hey guys...

My high mount stop lamp is out, got the bulb...just can't seem to figure out how to get to it. Doesn't seem like its possible through the trunk...and the cover on top doesn't seem to want to come off...

The diagram that I have is not too clear, but it indicates that you slide the lamp assembly to the side (passenger) and then lift the rear up. Again it is not clear, it is possible that you slide it to the drivers side. Good luck
