I want to use Redline pure synthetic ATF in my `08 ES 350. Their specifications meet Toyota Type T-III & T-IV ATF. Does this meet Lexus' specifications?

Thanks in advance.

No...you can't use that ATF in your ES 350 as it's a completely different ATF...you will need a fluid that meets Toyota WS (World Standard) specs (double check your owners manual). Other than Toyota, the only other possibility I know of is Amsoil. More info here...

And welcome to LOC. :)

+1 on the WS spec. WS is a synthetic fluid.

I would not put anything but the OEM fluid in there...sure fire way to cause warranty problems...

True!

I'm a Amsoil fluids guy but wouldn't use anything but Toyota WS in the trans.

WS is super expensive too.

I read a year or so ago the WS is $42 a gallon.

The Toyota dealer I go to here sells me WS for $82 for a case of 12 quarts which is enough for a trans fluid exchange. (11.4qts)
