eswint2010 Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 I have a 2001 lexus is300 with 137,000 miles on it and im not really getting the best gas mileage, ive been told that changing my o2 censors will help. Anyone know why brand i should buy and maybe some prices? And if anyone has any other suggestions on helping my gas mileage my ears (or should i say eyes) are open. tofu Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 If your CEL is on for bad o2 sensors then you will not get good gas mileage, but I would not replace them if your car doesn't have CEL. It could be many things that your car doesn't get good gas mileage such as dirty air filter, bad spark plugs, etc... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
