2000sc300
I have a 2000 SC300, and it has DRLs that are always on. I think they use the bright light bulbs at a reduced power. Has anyone figured out a way to disable the DRLs and still retain the brights? I could just pull the bulbs but then I wouldn't have brights. Is there a relay somewhere? UCF3
I believe the Day Time Running lights are patched through a relay system, but I believe if you disable it, you'll need to change the connectors so that they plug up. I really don't know for certain, but you could check with the dealer. They should give you some idea with "what if..."
SPORTcoupe300
Dunno what it looks like since I don't have the newest SC but if you have a trusty voltometer you can go in for some tests. IE measure incoming voltage with DRLs on and then with High beams on. Is the bulb a regular 9006? Or is it a twin wire bulb?
