pondfisher Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Can someone help me understand the procedures to replace the right rear stop light bulb on a 1997 LS 400. I have looked in my truck and the area behind the stop light appears to be fairly complex to remove. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
billydpowell Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Remove the complete lamp and then you can replace the bulb. Its not really hard. just remove the covering in the trunk, it was made to come off, and go back on.
jcrome04 Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 It's very simple. remove the "U" shape plastic trim around the latch. The carpetting pulls right back to reveal the bulbs.
