1997 Ls Stop Light Bulb Replacement

Can someone help me understand the procedures to replace the right rear stop light bulb on a 1997 LS 400. I have looked in my truck and the area behind the stop light appears to be fairly complex to remove. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the complete lamp and then you can replace the bulb. Its not really hard.

just remove the covering in the trunk, it was made to come off, and go back on.

It's very simple. remove the "U" shape plastic trim around the latch. The carpetting pulls right back to reveal the bulbs.
