acrocodator
The problem with my '99 RX300 is that the gauge fuse keeps blowing and no one really knows what the problem might be. When the fuse is blown, I cannot operate the power windows, the blinkers, the A/C system and who knows what else. The worst thing is that it happens randomly, doesn't seem to be connected to the way I'm driving or using the various car systems or controls. Anybody else with a similar problem? Any suggestions? - Thanks!
cduluk
There's gotta be a short somewhere... Does it happen only while you're driving or when you're at a stand still too? Could be something "loose" which rattles when you drive and hit bumps? Does it happen when the lights are on or off, or both? Is the cig lighter on this circuit? Like I said, it happens quite randomly in pretty much all kind of situations, moving or not. I wish I had the wiring diagram to know what's connected to that fuse but my impression is that a lot of things depend on it. Right now my number one suspect is something activated by the reverse mode, still don't know what that might be but I'll keep an eye on it and, who knows, I may get lucky and catch the culprid.
