Chris.White Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 So I blew my head gasket today and I'm trying to decide whether to pull the motor and try to repair the damage or to sell the car. Because of some aesthetic flaws the value of the car as a whole is greatly reduced, but parting it out I may be able to make enough to constitute a reasonable down payment on a new car. The most valuable part of the car is most likely the rare 5 speed transmission. I looked on ebay and they don't even list this as an option, I work at a parts store and we don't have access to the manual transmission through any carriers. I was hoping that some one on this site might be in need of a replacement or want to do a conversion. If anyone has any advice or is interested in any parts feel free to email me.
