94 Ls Telescoping Steering - Can't Remove Bolt/screw To Gear

Have watched video and seen tutorial to fix auto telescoping tilt. Have removed everything down to screw/washer that holds gear on. When I try to turn bolt, the gear turns so that I cannot remove the bolt that holds the gear on. Is there something I am missing?

Never Mind. Got it off. Fixed it. Done!!!!!

Fantastic! What was the problem?

It was the garden hose washer issue. Too much space behind the gear. Removed the gear, added 2 washers behind the gear, and it worked like a charm. It would have been an even quicker fix had we not done it at night with a flashlight and dropped one of the screws. : )
