Vsc Warning Light!

Since I have changed my '02 GS400's battery, the VSC "warning light" & the VSC "indication light off" stays on, does anybody knows what the problem could be???

The following thread points to other threads on resetting the VSC for my 2000 LS400 and jainla's 2001 LS430. I guessing that the procedure for your 02 GS would be more like jainla's 01 LS430 but no damage could be done by trying the one I use for my 00 LS after I change the battery: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...86&hl=reset

Might be worth calling the dealer if no one else responds or you can't find specific instructions on the forum for your 02 GS.

Did you read the threads I pointed you to? For my 2000 LS400, there is no "reset device". For the 2001 LS430, the "reset device" is a paperclip.

It may be different for your 02 GS.

Thanks for the info to reset the "Check VSC ."

Non-Lexus shop installed a new battery in a '99 LS400 (110K miles) today. Afterward the Check VSC warning was displayed. Followed the info you posted for your '00 LS40 - did the trick.
