I have a 2001 LS430 with the ultra luxury package which has a rear audio control in the back seats. 3 days ago, I found out that I could not turn the audio system on from the front, the driver seat. Have you had a look in the handbook because what springs to mind is this may be a dealer option setting for say a chauffeur driven car where the guy in the back wants control of the audio without driver intervention. Maybe the electronics have glitched and caused this to happen. Other than this maybe a trip to the dealer to ask. Finally welcome to the LOC.
