Seat Heater Switch Es300

Have a bad seat heater switch on the driver side. Should be easy to replace myself. Anyone done it before. Any tips? Thanks.

how do you know the seat heater switch is faulty

it is about as simple to remove the switch as putting 2 fingers under the hand brake rubber cover and pushing up on the back of the switches and they pop forward

Thanks! I know it's the switch because the light (for either high or low) on the switch flickers on and off as I jiggle the switch. Also, seat heats when the light on the switch is on and doesn't when it is off.

From your tip, even though I don't have a hand brake, I just pulled the switches and swapped the switch from driver's side to passenger side. Problem moves with the switch. So, I'll replace the switch and problem solved. Thanks for your help.

A used one would set you back about $40, go to the dealer and they will charge you $76 for it, however on the following website you can get it for $56 brandnew.

well you didn;t mention what year you have

but i am guessing now that you have a 97 and up model
