i'll move this to the es 300 section as the workshop tutroials are for ones already done to be veiwed

how do you know the seat heater switch is faulty

it is about as simple to remove the switch as putting 2 fingers under the hand brake rubber cover and pushing up on the back of the switches and they pop forward

Thanks! I know it's the switch because the light (for either high or low) on the switch flickers on and off as I jiggle the switch. Also, seat heats when the light on the switch is on and doesn't when it is off.

From your tip, even though I don't have a hand brake, I just pulled the switches and swapped the switch from driver's side to passenger side. Problem moves with the switch. So, I'll replace the switch and problem solved. Thanks for your help.
