Nav Screen Interface Issue

Recommended Posts

I recently started having an issue with my 2009 RX350. Its not a major issue, but an annoying one nonetheless.

I have my ipod connected to the vehicle through the glove box. This has been working great and I've really enjoyed this feature until recently. For some reason the Artist, Song, and Folder names no longer show up on the Nav screen. Currently only the track number does, which doesn't really help me at all. All the song and folder information has now started showing up down below the Nav screen where you would see them had you not had the Nav system in your vehicle.

For the life of me I can't figure out how to change this back to how it was working. I've tried multiple ipods, so I know its the vehicle and not the ipod that is causing this issue. I may have hit a random button or setting that has changed this, but its almost as if the nav screen no longer recognizes that I have an ipod hooked up. I have tested other CDs in the changer, both mp3 cd's and regular store bought cd's and the cd text and folders all work just fine. So it appears to have something to do with the connection from the ipod. But obviously the car is still reading the text because it shows up down below, just not on the Nav Screen anymore.

I appreciate any help anyone can provide with this issue. Even if I have to somehow clear out all the settings in my nav system and start over it would be worth it to me for this feature.

Thanks!
