1badxj
A couple months ago my 96 es300 started acting funny. When accelerating there is this random sudden pull of the steering, usually to the left I think. I correct and it is fine. It does not consistently happen at any specific speed or rpm. Although it often happens with a shift between gears. I'm worried that it's going to jerk me into another car or something at some point. Any suggestions as to the possible cause? Thanks. George_Jetson
Start with a visual of the axles, cv boots, then raise the front end and check both wheels. See if there is anything obvious.
1badxj
I heard from one source that this could be due to a worn steering rack. Anyone had experience with a bad steering rack? What's it feel like. Tough to replace?
