Aftermarket Amp To Power Factory Subwoofer?

Hey,

Does anyone know of a decent amp to power the factory subwoofer in my 2001 GS300. I would like to install an aftermarket HU in the interest of gaining ipod integration and I've read unless you replace the factory amp the factory sub will be disabled.

What do I need to know in order to choose an appropriate amp (impedance, rms etc...)?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking about doing that to my GS400, but so many people told me it is to much of a hassle to find the right amp that maybe could work with that stock subwoofer... I just ended up buying a new 1200 Watt amp and a 12' subwoofer... Works like a charm!
