Hey, Does anyone know of a decent amp to power the factory subwoofer in my 2001 GS300. I would like to install an aftermarket HU in the interest of gaining ipod integration and I've read unless you replace the factory amp the factory sub will be disabled. What do I need to know in order to choose an appropriate amp (impedance, rms etc...)? Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bryan

Hey, I'm installing an Alpine 9886 HU in my 2001 GS300. I would like to keep my stock sub working rather than replacing it (save $$). I'm told by Crutchfield I can do this through bypassing the factory amp and buying a new amp that is compatible with the factory sub's impedance and RMS. Anyone know what the factory sub's impedance and RMS is for a 2001 GS300 (I have the standard system...not Mark Lev and no Nav)? Any recommendations on a good amp to get? Thanks Bryan
