My Stock Nak Sounds Like A Helicopter

The stereo in my 95 sc400 suddenly started making a loud "thud,thud,thud..." sound. Music can be heard faintly in the background. Is the amp done?? Where do I find a stock replacement? Tearing it all out and going aftermaket is more $ and frustration than I want to deal with.

sexycar400, It could be blown speakers, especially if they are stock. You can test with working speakers, by connecting to the +/- terminals in the trunk compartment. Here is a step by step procedure I did when I replaced my speakers.
