Maint Required Reset

I have a Maint Requires indication on my dash & an exclaimation mark in "red". How do I reset this? My ride is a 2004 LS430 Ultra and it has 50015 miles on her. The 50K service was performed about 35 miles ago. It is my wifes car, and the dealer is just over 2 hours away, in Raleigh,NC. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Bob

:)Easy.

1) Turn key on.

2) Press trip button until the trip odometer line is blank (showing only car odometer in top line).

3) Turn key off

4) Press and hold reset button down

5) Turn key to on and keep holding reset button

6) After about 5 seconds of holding the reset button down the maintenance light will be reset for another 5,000 miles.

Thanks for the quick reply. My wife gets coffee nervs over stuff like this. This forum is a fantastic tool, especially with people like you, that can give what I call learned advice to us novices..

Once again, thanks a million!!
