GSbearcat Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Hello, New member here, looking very seriously at a GS400. Wondered how the rear spoilers are attached on these cars, are there holes in the trunk or is it some type of adhesive? Thanks for any assistance. Jeff

Jeff Jeff, I am assuming that your looking for a car to buy or a spoiler? I have both for sale. My car does not have the spoiler but I have one to match the color of the car. The spoilers are bolted on. See the followoing link.. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/2gen-gs430...tml#post4404474 BP

See the followoing link.. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/2gen-gs430...tml#post4404474 BP Thanks - the car I'm looking at has the spoiler and it has new Lexus chrome wheels. I am most likely going to be starting a sales position this summer and I'm worried the car is actually too flashy. I am trying to figure out what it would take to possibly remove the spoiler and swap out the shiny chrome rims for something more subtle. I know I would be going in the opposite direction as most people but it probably be a smart thing for me to do. Sounds like removing just the spoiler is probably not an option without swapping our the entire trunk lid. Thanks again for the quick response.
sakataj Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 The spoilers are bolted on. See the followoing link.. if its oem then yes its bolted on....if its aftermarket it can be 3m'ed down or bolted.
