I plugged in the replacement (OEM) player and the screen shows the disc playing, but no sound. Could that have anything to do with a little blue plug hole in the back of the player? I'm pretty lost on this one.

Thanks.

The old changer was completely broken. It didn't even register in the stereo, and wouldn't spit out my CD magazine. I opened it up to get the mag out and found a few small broken parts. I bought this new one off ebay, and it's supposed to work in my 99 even though it's from a 00...it fits perfectly and plays the discs, I just don't get any sound. I'm pretty convinced that it has something to do with the blue plug jack in the back that i have nothing to fill with. Is that the amp jack or something?

What do you think?

Thanks for the help.
