Battery Replaced. Am Fm Work. Cd Changer Doesn't

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Recently had to disconnect the battery and for some reason I can no longer use the CD function in my audio.

The 12 stacker in the boot is getting power, I can eject the stacker, and also insert it and hear it shuffling the CD's.

I went for a drive last night and noticed the AM and FM backlights are lighting them up but the CD and TAPE are

not lite up like the rest of the area.

I have checked fuses in the drivers side door panel and also under the hood. (I changed the radio fuse even thou it was fine)

It seems like the audio unit is not seeing the stacker in the boot.

Are there fuses in the stereo unit that could possibly have blown, disabling the CD and TAPE funtion but leave the FM and AM working?

If anyone has any suggestions it would be great.
