Naj-Zero
So I bought 19" (19x8 front 19x9.5 rear) TSW Estorils for my 96 SC300. I've had them awhile now and with my income tax return was going to buy some Z-rated tires to fit onto them. I figured this would be pretty simple seeing how all over the internet are people are selling 19" for the 300/400 and also many people on cardomain having this size setup. But I called Discount tire (Discounttire.com) in my local area and the guy I talked to said I would either have to have alot of work done on the wheelwell or have custom tires made? I have never heard anyone needing work to fit 19s. Is there a certain wall size I need to prevent this? Help plz. EDIT: Just to let yall know, the Offset is 20 and Bolt Pattern is 114.3. The tires im looking at are the Kumho Ecsta SPT, 225/35/19 in front and 255/35/19 in the rear.
grnsc40095
Naj-Zero, The rims in (19x9.5) rear are too big, meaning you will need to roll the fenders in order for the wheel to fit properly. The link below will explain. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-400-300...c300-sc400.html
1992LexusOwner
I have a 1992, with the same size wheel size and tire size. Not sure of the offset though. I had to grind down the inside lip of both fender wells a little, then paint it, to keep it from rusting. No more rubbing. I have have the same type tires and love them..
