400gs Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 my passenger side headlight still works but its like a 'pink' color. i had priced a new HID bulb and the dealer states is $329.99. does this sound right? when i check pricing online at Checker is waaaay cheaper. please help and let me know any info. thank you!!! 1990LS400 Posted February 26, 2009 Share Posted February 26, 2009 I see lots of new Phillips 4300K D2R HID bulbs on eBay today for "buy it now" prices of less than $75 per bulb with reasonable shipping costs. There are also sets of 2 bulbs advertised. You will want to replace both bulbs at once so that the color matches. Be careful about eBay though. There are people on eBay selling used HID bulbs at a higher prices than new ones. Some of these used bulbs could be as old as the ones in your car.
