Nav / Phone Override On 2008 Rx400h?

Hello, I am currently considering the purchase of a 2008 RX400H in the US.

I read about the problem with the nav / phone override and I am wondering if there is some way to get around it on a 2008 RX400H. If I understand everything correctly, in some of the newer vehicles I can still make a hybrid disk with 5.1 software but 7.1 maps to regain the override option. However, I am confused about whether it will work with the hardware in a 2008 car.

Try coastaletech dot com & then search for 'lockpick' for your model year ... then confirm with the company that yours is is the model it's designed for. Oh, and be patient w/ them (if they're slow to respond ... phone works best for me) as it's a tiny mom&pop outfit.
