maidepqua Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 So I was getting tie rods replaced on my car and the mechanic noticed my passenger ball joint was broke. Well apparently I can't just change the ball joint, I have to change the whole lower arm control. Is this true?? If so do I need to change the bushings or does that come with the part?? Any info will be helpful. Thank you!
whitesnake SC400 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Original Toyota control arm comes with bushings. It's 350$ or something. Perhaps some aftermarket control arms are available without bushings, although a haven't hear of any. For your reference there are aftermarket bushings available from daizen.com
