Maint Light On

I have a 2005 Lexus es330 with Navi. My maint light came on and I cant get it off. I followed the procedure of pressing the odo button and turning on ignition but it doesnt work. Any other suggestions.

hmmm....make sure that the ODO selector is not in trip A or trip B...needs to be in the actual ODO display.

1. turn ignition on but do not start the car.

2. set odometer to total miles, not trip A or B.

3. turn the ignition to off.

4. press and hold the trip mile reset button.

5. while holding the button, turn the ignition to on (not start!).

6. continue to hold down the reset button until the MAINT reminder light flashes.

7. After if flashes, it should go out.

8. then turn the ignition to off.

9. go have a beer.
