Re-program Remote Key Door Locks

2002 LS430 I would like to reprogram my remote key to unlock all doors with one button push, instead of just the driver's door. I would also like to have the horn beep when I lock and unlock the doors with the remote. The owners manual says to request the dealer to perform these changes but the dealer wants $65 to do it. (30 minutes of labor) I did learn from the owners manual that I can control the volume of the chip with a rotary switch above the drivers knee.

Anyone have this info?

Many thanks for any assistance.

Many times you can convince the Service Manager to throw in the setting update when you are there for service.

If you have several dealers in your area, you can call around and tell them you are trying to determine who will do all your service going forward, and that you want your settings changed when you come in for service. One of them will offer it for free to cap your business.
