travisr300 Posted December 12, 2008 Share Posted December 12, 2008 Last weekend, and the week before..I've been prepping my car to be painted (2 front fenders, hood, front bumper)...completely sanded down to bare metal on the fenders and hood...3 layers of black primer/sealer...3 layers of jet black...3 layers of clear coat...that's where it stands now, going to wet sand it down and buff it up this weekend...but here was the process and now (Btw, it hasn't been washed in these pics) Before..I had the hood pretty badly oxidized, probably from a Maaco paint job..clear coat was pretty much gone on the hood...and I was in an accident that put a dent right in the front of the car, and a big one on the driver side fender at the front...Fixed them both up perfectly, can't even see em anymore.
