Transconductor08
I have searched this topic but could not find a previous post. I have an 08 IS250 RWD with the lower profile tires in the front (tire sizes are 225/40-18 front and 255/40-18 rear). When replacing the tires, can I do so with all four tires the same size? If the wheels are all 18's, I see no reason why, but maybe I am missing something? I am sure I will notice a slight difference in steering/cornering, but it would be nice to be able to rotate for longevity and more even wear. I would think that the higher profile tire in the front may also reduce the "wandering" effect with every rut encountered on the roads. If anyone HAS done this, please share your opinions. smooth1
The rims are different widths. While they are all 18's, the front is 8 inches wide, and the rears are 8.5 inches wide.

I did realize the wheels were wider in the back. Thanks for the information.
