Installing Xm Radio In '95 Sc400 Can You Help?

I just got my '95 SC400 and need to install my XM commander. In all of my previous cars I have found it easiest to put the satellite receiver box in the trunk. To do that, of course I need a source of constant as well as switched 12V power. Does anyone know of a good power source to tap into in the trunk area? Hmm.. perhaps Power antenna leads?

HI, i read your post, I have a 92 Sc400, with something handy called "Cell phone on the car", if course doesnt need it, but when i turn on the car i hear the beeb coming from the front speakers.

MAybe if you see under the jack (rear driver side), you will find that cell module, or only the connector, with the thelp of a Voltimeter you could find the 12v + and -, if you dont have a voltimeter, just use a bulb ligth with two cables. Jejeje.

That should be a nice 12v suply. If you dont find it, maybe from the connector fron the cd changer.

Coming out of what appears to be the output side of the amplifier are the two power wires (the inputs that power the amp are on the output side of the amplifier). Now, which plug it is, I don't know quite yet. I'm going off the wiring diagram.

Anyway, your Blue wire with a Yellow stripe is your constant 12v. The solid Green wire is your switched 12v, or ACC.

The solid Brown wire is the ground (it's on the opposite plug as the two power wires).

However - USE A VOLT METER to confirm all of this.
