2bapedup Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 Hey guys, I have a 96 Ls400 and a red light came on the dash. Its a Red Circle with a dotted half circle going around both sides. steve2006 Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 It's the brake pad wear warning light have a look at the pads and replace if worn before you damage the rotors otherwise check the pad sensors ( attached to the pads) for damage or broken wires. E.g., does tying the input and output of the wire (near the wheel) make the light go off? I've checked my pads, they still have life left (both front and rear) and would like to continue driving without having to stare at Mr. Red-Dotted-Circle.
