EllieSO Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 2003 IS in great shape and I love it - bought it with 33K and now it's at 75K, but these check engine lights come on the disappear. I thought it was cheap gas at first, had all the O2 sensors replaced within the year.. I feel like it's making a whirling sort of noise? Any ideas?

IndyKen Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 A quart of Type IV Transmission fluid says it's one of your O2 sensors. (The one AFTER the catalytic converter) I'd take it to Autozone and let them tell you the code. (it's free to test)
