Mike V.
When I'm playing music from my iPhone through my Auxillary port I hear an annoying acceleration whine when I step on the brakes. Playing music from all other sources, i.e., CD player, radio, produces no whine. Any ideas?
IS_Willie
There is a TSIB regarding the fix. It is a ground loop filter that goes inline, and the dealer will do it for free. I had mine done, and it works great... the only downside is that it is a filter, and you will loose a bit of volume.

smooth1
Theres a TSB out for that. We have a pinned thread at the top of this forum with access to the technical service bulletins. Here's a link though: TSB thread On your next visit to the dealer, just let them know the problem your having. They have an audio filter they install to correct that issue. Yeah it has to do with the iPod being charged while playing. If I unplug the power cable the whining goes away.
