To whom it may concern, Two Lexus dealerships quoted me $399 and $499 respectively for parts and installation of the Lexus iPod Integration Kit for my 2007 IS350. After obtaining the Lexus document that is attached to this post, I was able to walk into the dealership that quoted me $399 and negotiate the price down to $275 without them ever seeing the document. *BLEEP*s. Yeah it has to do with the iPod being charged while playing. If I unplug the power cable the whining goes away.

When I'm listening to music somewhat loud I can barely make out the GPS voice during turn by turn directions. It sounds like the voice only comes out of one of the left hand speakers. I have it set to high and to the auto adjusting setting. Is there a a known reason as to why this happens?

So my insurance went up an extra $220 every six months.

When I'm playing music from my iPhone through my Auxillary port I hear an annoying acceleration whine when I step on the brakes. Playing music from all other sources, i.e., CD player, radio, produces no whine. Any ideas?

I currently own a 2006 Mazda MX-5 Grand touring car and I'm wondering if insurance will be a lot more on a 2007 IS350?
