Annoying Nav System Message

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the annoying warning message that appears n the navigation window every time you put the car in drive (other than turning off the display)? I know it goes away automatically on the 2009 model after a few seconds. It seems like they'd be able to program that out...

Run a search ;)

If you update your nav software to v 7.1 or v 8.1 it will automatically go away after displaying for a couple seconds like it does on the '08s and '09s.
