I had the same experience at 18,000 miles. It bugs me to have to replace tires at that mileage, particularly since the OE tires on my 03 4Runner lasted 45,000 miles... However, I guess there's some comfort in numbers... <_<

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the annoying warning message that appears n the navigation window every time you put the car in drive (other than turning off the display)? I know it goes away automatically on the 2009 model after a few seconds. It seems like they'd be able to program that out...
