Sam H Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 Greetings all, Have a 94LS400, battery light comes on when RPMs reach 2K, then turns off when I slow down. Had the battery and amp checked at Autozone. They say battery and amp is good. Any ideas??? Also Trac Off and ABS lights come on when I reach about 50mph, then go off when I slow down. TA in KC Posted October 9, 2008 Share Posted October 9, 2008 I am guessing that your car's alternator is gradually beginning to fail. It is not unlikely that a power steering pump leak (directly above the alternator) can cause this type of failure. I would not trust AutoZone's alternator tester.
