I notice that in a heavy rain day, my A/C indication light start to flash and A/C seems stop working! Later I found that it back to work if I switch the air flow from fresh to Recycled. Dealer told me I need recharge the A/C liquid...but I don't have those problem when it's not in heavy rain....any suggestion? Thanks for your sharing.

Hey kcpartsguy,

Thanks for your help! I saw hoho223 post the similar problem....I guess you are right due to my problem is always related to the wet weather. Then I don't have to spend $200 to dealer for recharge.

I'm dummy about the car repair, where is the belt? Can we fix it ourselves or have to ask dealer to do that?

Your belt is slipping, then the rpm sensor turns off the compressor and the light will flash. I tightened my belt and it quit.

No warranty?

A/C systems dont need to be recharged after 2 years unless there is a problem. This is a warranty issue...
