Fsirko Posted December 23, 2003 Posted December 23, 2003 My high beams are not working on my 2000 Rx300. I replaced the blubs and checked the fuses and they are all okay. Does anybody think replacing the Headlight Control Relay would solve my problem?
SKperformance Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 Possible ,but have you tested the wiring with a multimeter?
Fsirko Posted December 24, 2003 Author Posted December 24, 2003 No, I have not tested the wiring only because that's beyond my technical skills.
SKperformance Posted December 24, 2003 Posted December 24, 2003 Well then you might need to have a pro diagnosis it before . Do you hear a click when you activate the light stalk to high beam position and does the blue light on the cluster illuminate ?
JPI Posted December 25, 2003 Posted December 25, 2003 Check your relay. It's located on the radiator grill. If it's working you will hear a clicking sound. www.jpimportz.org
Hefavitzen Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Check your relay. It's located on the radiator grill. If it's working you will hear a clicking sound. www.jpimportz.org Do you guys know of a place to get the relays other than the dealer? Also, to make sure, are the relays that control the high beams located in the pod that is actually attached at the radiator? Has a black, and 2 burgundy relays plus 1 fuse? Thanks! Jeff

Jeff I'm having the same problem on my 99 RX-300. Did the relay fix the problem?
