shawndon Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 I AM HEARING KNOCKING NOISES FROM THE PASSENGER REAR ,SOMETIMES IT SOUND LIKE ITS COMING FROM THE TRUNK.i HAVE HAD SWAY BARS AND BUSHINGS REPLACED ALSO REAR STRUTS.CAN ANYONE HELP ME OR GIVE ME AN OPINON WHAT IT COULD BE,I LIKE TO SOUND LIKE I KNOW WHATS GOING ON BEFORE I GO TO A MECHANIC.THANK YOU!!! richard99 Posted August 15, 2008 Share Posted August 15, 2008 I get a noise as well ('94 ES300), but I notice it in the left rear during straight-line driving over bumps. Sounds like the problem I had in the left front shock - once I put a wrench on the nut and tightened it, it went away. Possibly the same thing in the rear? eman_be_lexin Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 It definately seems like something is very loose. I wonder what a bad wheel bearing sounds like?
