  1. If you have the upper mount bolt, I'm interested. Headlights, too, if they are available. Rich from Maine
  2. Hi folks - hopefully this wasn't covered somewhere else - I checked best I could. I have a '94 ES300 and since the day I bought it 8 months ago, the ABS light has been on. Something weird happened tonight - I went to apply the brakes on dry pavement, and I felt that pulsating that happens when the ABS system is kicking in (with considerable dimming of lights - my battery ain't so good, I think). Then my ABS light wasn't on anymore! I was just about to decide that the car has spontaneously fixed itself when I braked again and it happened again, but then the light came back on and stayed on. This make any sense to anyone? Thanks in advance... Rich from Maine
  3. Hopefully you are ok - and if so - while you have it apart - change everything. I just went through a timing belt failure.
  4. Def do the timing belt, tho!! Money well spent - even if just for peace of mind.

  6. I get a noise as well ('94 ES300), but I notice it in the left rear during straight-line driving over bumps. Sounds like the problem I had in the left front shock - once I put a wrench on the nut and tightened it, it went away. Possibly the same thing in the rear?
  7. This might be an idoitic reply (and probably too late) but check to see if you have something stuck in your tire tread - happened to me after I got new skins.
  8. I remember back in '73 when gas was (relatively) expensive there was a lot of siphoning going on. Maybe wanna make sure your access door for your gas cap is locked...?
  9. Hi everyone - I've searched all over this forum, but had no luck on this... I have a '94 ES300 with 133K on it and everything is just about perfect with it, but one thing - it misfires. Almost sounds like the engine, for just a millisecond, cuts out. It is only apparent at idle; the engine seems to run very smoothly otherwise. I just had the timing belt and plugs and crankshaft sensor replaced, but this was going on before that. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks...Rich from Maine
