eatingupblacktop Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I promise this will be my last post for today. :D I'm locked up in the computer room doing some scanning and housekeeping (backups, etc) so I'm doing some surfing. This article really puts the whole energy situation into perspective. It sucks! Here it is anyway. Enjoy. I've got to change my subject matter before I start getting depressed. http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/earth/4253590.html
Captain Meeks Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Appreciate that info.. granted that the water would be returned to the source (like the article says) at higher temps. It still raises alot of issues that I personally had not thought of as far as the hydro-electric concept. That really is amazing at the amount of water a enviro/friendly car consumes. Thanks for the thought. A for sure item to consider if you are thinking green. :o
Blayd Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Its not as bad as it sounds. It takes more than that practically to run your dryer.
