I recently started having problems with my 97 es300 ac working intermittently so I changed the expansion valve after doing some research that seemed to be the fix others were having success with. But that did not fix my problem so I ran the hvac diagnotic test and here are my results

after I changed the expansion valve what procedure should I follow to fill with refrigerant

You should pull a vacuum on the system, check for leaks (check the rate of rise), and then add freon. Make sure that you replace the oil that was lost when you discharged the system. The easy way to do this is to buy freon that already has oil added. It is normally a good practice to replace the receiver whenever the system is discharged, but I will admit that when I replaced the evaporator on my truck, I didn't change it out, and it is doing a good job keeping my truck cool down here in Texas.
